We all have only one life to live and we never know when we
will leave this world. Often when we read of famous people passing on in the
news, we lament that life is short and unpredictable. The element of uncertainty
continues its grip on us even though the world today is a relatively
technologically advanced place. Still, we can never overcome uncertainties in our lives.
In my opinion, the key thing in life is to know Christ. Paul in the book of Philippians wrote, “More
than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ
Jesus my Lord…” (Phil 3:8). As we go about our lives day in and day out, we sometimes wonder what is the meaning of life? Paul counted all things to be
rubbish to him compared to the value of knowing Christ. Why is that so?
Folks, may I humbly appeal to you to find out more
about Christ today. Investigate for yourself why Jesus claims that He is the Way,
the Truth and the Life (John 14:6) and why He Alone is able to offer us hope in
this uncertain world where the days are evil (Eph 5:16). Like to leave you with
