5 days to Park City Marathon!

"Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." - Hebrews 12:1

To God Be the Glory

To God be the glory, great things He has done;
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.

Refrain
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.
O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

Refrain
Great things He has taught us, great things He has done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.

The LOVE of GOD

The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.

Refrain:
Oh, love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure—
The saints’ and angels’ song.

When hoary time shall pass away,
And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall,
When men who here refuse to pray,
On rocks and hills and mountains call,
God’s love so sure, shall still endure,
All measureless and strong;
Redeeming grace to Adam’s race—
The saints’ and angels’ song.

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.

Wonderful GRACE of JESUS

Wonderful grace of Jesus, greater than all my sin;
How shall my tongue describe it, where shall its praise begin?
Taking away my burden, setting my spirit free,
For the wonderful grace of Jesus reaches me!

Wonderful grace of Jesus, reaching to all the lost,
By it I have been pardoned, saved to the uttermost;
Chains have been torn asunder, giving me liberty,
For the wonderful grace of Jesus reaches me!

Wonderful grace of Jesus, reaching the most defiled,
By its transforming power, making him God’s dear child.
Purchasing peace and heaven for all eternity;
And the wonderful grace of Jesus reaches me!

REFRAIN:
Wonderful the matchless grace of Jesus,
Deeper than the mighty rolling sea;
Higher than the mountain, sparkling like a fountain,
All-sufficient grace for even me;
Broader than the scope of my transgressions,
Greater far than all my sin and shame;
O magnify the precious name of Jesus, praise His name!

When the roll is called up...

When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and time shall be no more,
And the morning breaks, eternal, bright and fair;
When the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore,
And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.

Refrain
When the roll, is called up yonder,
When the roll, is called up yonder,
When the roll, is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder I’ll be there.

On that bright and cloudless morning
when the dead in Christ shall rise,
And the glory of His resurrection share;
When His chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies,
And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.

Let us labor for the Master from the dawn till setting sun,
Let us talk of all His wondrous love and care;
Then when all of life is over,
and our work on earth is done,
And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.

If my posts are profound to you...

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. ~ 2 Corinthians 4:4 ~
Containment Action: Ask a true Christian to share with you about his / her FATHER.
Preventive Action: Pray to ask the only one true GOD of the bible to open your eyes to see HIM.
If you do not know how to pray, you can email me at edsoh98@gmail.com

I Need to PRAY more.

I need to pray more. Really pray more. I went to church’s prayer meeting on Tuesday evening which was also my Boise church’s midweek service. I really thank my Father for opening my eyes to His Word once again. Pst was preaching from a number of verses which identifies the Holy Spirit as our Counselor, our advocate, our defender, our helper and our comforter in times of troubles and needs.

Allow me to share with you all on the verses which were mentioned that night.

John 14:16 - 17 -> “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”

-=The Holy Spirit is my Counselor.=-

Luke 2:25 -> “Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.”

-=The Holy Spirit is here to console me in times of troubles and needs.=-

John 15:26 -> “When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.”

-=The Holy Spirit is here to tell me about the Father.=-

John 16:7 -> “But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.”

-=The Holy Spirit is always here within me and beside me to carry me through the tough stages of life.=-

1 Corinthians 14:3 -> “But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort.”

-=The Holy Spirit is my comforter.=-

The FATHER allows trouble to come into my life so that I can look to HIM and HE may glorify and magnify HIS NAME when I pray to HIM.

Many times I do feel lonely here in US but I still thank HIM when there is nobody to accompany me simply because it is only when I am the loneliest with no one beside me, then can I truly experience HIM and want to go close to HIM.

One last verse to share.

1 John 2:1 -> “My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense – Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

-=The Holy Spirit is my defender.=-

Alright, Brother Soh here needs to continue to trust and obey the FATHER and he knows that HE will definitely not disappoint him.

Why?

Because of this:
"The Lord God is a sun and a shield, the Lord gives grace and glory, no good thing he withhold from those who walk up rightly." Psalm 84:11

May our FATHER continue to bless all those whom HE has elected and opened the minds to see the light of HIS gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God!

Only the FATHER’s kingdom will reign. AMEN…
