Buck Earned, Buck Taxed

Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are. Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not?”
But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? Show me the coin used for paying the tax.” They brought him a denarius, and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”
“Caesar’s,” they replied.
Then he said to them, “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”
When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left him and went away.
~ Matthew 22:15-22

It is the time of the year again to be filing my taxes for the previous year’s earnings. As Jesus spent a lot of time teaching us about money, I figure I will also need to be managing my finances well.
Ok, let's get started by first looking at the earnings for last year…

Quote - Unquote

Supposing science ever became complete so that it knew every single thing in the whole universe. Is it not plain that the questions, ‘Why is there a universe?’ ‘Why does it go on as it does?’ ‘Has it any meaning?’ would remain just as they were?

Pray

My Father has said in His Word…
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. ~Philippians 4:6

Therefore, when I pray…
I should not be anxious about anything which I am going to say to my Father. I should be thanking my Father for everything as I present my problems in life, the people around me and their needs to Him.

And I know that He hears me…
With this Truth, I can only thank Him for being who He really is.
