2023, In Closing

As we approach yet another new year 2024, I reflected upon my life for this year 2023. In closing off this chapter, my personal key takeaway from the various experiences that I had to get through is putting the interests of others above my own (Philippians 2:3), deny myself and take up the cross daily (Luke 9:23) and know that my struggles with sin have not reached the point of shedding my blood (Hebrews 12:4).

As I enter into 2024, I can only rely on the grace of GOD to get through each day as I strive to trust, obey and wait upon His Will being revealed in my life and the roles that He has assigned to me to undertake. It would not be easy but my confidence is the LORD would be with me every step of the way.

Praying that my faith in the LORD can be enhanced as He put me through different circumstances of life ahead. 🙏🏽

From Darkness Into Light

 You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;

my God turns my darkness into light.

The Whole Duty of Man

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgement, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

GOD's Final Word to us

God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.

Trust Him

So Jesus said to them, “Children, you do not have any fish, do you?” They answered Him, “No.” And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right-hand side of the boat and you will find a catch.” So they cast, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish.

The Grace of GOD

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.

Children of GOD

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,

GOD's Grace

GOD's Love

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Free Gift of GOD

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

All Have Sinned

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
