Let's embrace the Word of GOD

Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.” And this person is my LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. He came to show us the Way, to shine as the Light of the World and to be the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

One key verse in the book of John is John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Therefore upon close consideration, I guess I am a lousy student of the Word of God because there is still so much to learn and apply from the Bible. Let’s embrace the Word of God as our only treasure in our lives. Let us read through the Bible every year and be immersed in learning all about our Father’s attributes, remembering history is HIS-story…
