a hymn that touches me

Come, ye sinners, poor and needy,
Weak and wounded, sick and sore;
Jesus ready stands to save you,
Full of pity, love and power.
Refrain
I will arise and go to Jesus,
He will embrace me in His arms;
In the arms of my dear Savior,
O there are ten thousand charms.
Come, ye thirsty, come, and welcome,
God’s free bounty glorify;
True belief and true repentance,
Every grace that brings you nigh.
Refrain
Come, ye weary, heavy laden,
Lost and ruined by the fall;
If you tarry till you’re better,
You will never come at all.
Refrain
View Him prostrate in the garden;
On the ground your Maker lies.
On the bloody tree behold Him;
Sinner, will this not suffice?
Refrain
Lo! th’incarnate God ascended,
Pleads the merit of His blood:
Venture on Him, venture wholly,
Let no other trust intrude.
Refrain
Let not conscience make you linger,
Not of fitness fondly dream;
All the fitness He requireth
Is to feel your need of Him.

Bound for the Promise Land!

Jars of Clay - On Jordan's stormy banks I stand
On Jordan's stormy banks I stand
And cast a wishful eye
To Canaan's fair and happy land
Where my possessions lie
All o'er those wide extended plains
Shines one eternal day
There God, the Son forever reigns
And scatters night away.
I am bound, I am bound, I am bound for the Promise Land
I am bound, I am bound, I am bound for the Promise Land
No chilling wind nor poisonous breath
Can reach that healthful shore
Where sickness, sorrow, pain and death
Are felt and feared no more
I am bound, I am bound, I am bound for the Promise Land
I am bound, I am bound, I am bound for the Promise Land
When shall I see that happy place
And be forever blessed
When shall I see my Father's face
And in His bosom rest
I am bound, I am bound, I am bound for the Promise Land
I am bound, I am bound, I am bound for the Promise Land

sacredness

It’s been a long time since I really sat down and did some writing to express some opinions. Tonight as I am trying to cool myself down in my warm bedroom in Singapore, I felt a need to express myself once again in this cyberspace… haha.
Will just like to say a few words about sacredness. What is sacredness? Wikipedia says it well as the state of being holy. I think you and I are sacred. Why? Because we are all made in the image of God (Gen 1:27). We did not choose to be either male or female but the Only True God of the Bible chose for us when He gave us our breath of life (Gen 2:7). That is the primary reason why we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
With this, I do believe that there is absolutely no reason for us to be pursuing LGBT relationships because we didn’t even get to choose to be male or female. Therefore, why do we even for the slightest reason think that we can get to marry somebody of the same gender at all?
In the same manner, nobody chooses to be of a particular race. Hence, we do not racial discriminate any race because it is sacred by nature. Human relationships are all ordained by the Only True God of the Bible alone. Please do not even think that you are able to pursue whatever kind of relationships just because you desire it in your own sinful flesh. My own prayer is that the people around me can be born again in their spirits to see God for Who He really is and seek Him as their Saviors. There is indeed no plan B for salvation of human souls for Christ.
People, please wake up today.
