The Only Truth

Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth.” – John 18:37

We do not know the Truth and therefore Jesus has to come into this world to testify to it. Although we are created by God in His Image (Genesis 1:27) and having a spirit, soul and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23), we are spiritually dead because of our sin and there is a need to be born again (John 3:3).

One friend of mine asked, “Is it that you need to finish reading the entire bible in order to be a Christian?” I replied, “No, all you need to do is to truly understand John 3:16.”
